Why Bachata?: Bachata--the music, the dance--is an undeniable love story. Sensual and rhythmic, true love can never be extinguished. That's probably why, despite forceful attempts to ban bachata for being "lowly," it lives on today, vibrant and full of passion. Born in the countryside of the Dominican Republic, bachata is one our favorite Latin American musical genres, which is why we knew we needed to capture its alluring, full-bodied essence in scent form.
